Every podcaster reaches a point where they want more from the show than they’re currently getting. You’re doing everything the guides tell you, and the results still aren’t matching the effort. Maybe that’s downloads not moving, maybe it’s just a nagging sense you could be doing better than you are.
Here’s the thing nobody selling you a course wants to say. You don’t need more information. You’ve probably already got more podcasting advice bookmarked than you’ll ever read. What you need is somewhere to bring whatever’s on your mind that week; a problem, a decision, or just “how do I make this stronger”. And get an answer from someone who’s actually done it, not guessed at it.
That’s what this is.

Is this the community for podcasters you’ve been looking for?
There’s no shortage of places to look. A Facebook group with 40,000 people in it. Reddit threads. You might already be in one. Or this might be the first time you’ve gone looking.
Either way, here’s what’s usually going on in them: a lot of people, exactly like you, figuring it out one guess at a time. Post a question and you’ll get fifteen replies. Some will be right. Most won’t be. None of them come with any way of knowing which is which, because nobody in that thread has actually seen your numbers, your niche, or your show.
This is what a podcasting community looks like when someone who’s actually done it builds it, instead:
Stuck feeling amateur, or ready for ongoing podcast support?
This is for you if:
This isn’t for you if:
If there’s something about your podcast you haven’t quite looked at yet; the format, the guest booking, the plan, this community is a good place to work through it, without the ego or the sales pitch.
What’s inside the community
This isn’t just you and me. It’s a mix of indie podcasters, small business owners fitting podcasting around everything else they run, members of the Indie Creator Network, and some of my own clients with top 10 charting shows — all in one place, with me in there daily.
Weekly live meetups
Regular sessions on the calendar plus guest speakers. The kind of meetups that actually happen, week after week.
Daily drop-ins from me
Bring whatever you’re needing support with that week; an episode that flopped, a stat you don’t trust, a decision you’re stuck on, or just where to focus next.
Peer support from people who’ve been where you are
A community built on people at every level, many of whom have grown their shows with my input along the way — and who are generous about paying that forward.
Member rates on Podmastery services
Including audits, 1:1 coaching calls, and ICN membership.
Guide content and a course
Available at the higher tiers. More on that below.
Ongoing podcast support, not a one-off course
Courses are built once and sold forever. But your podcast’s questions don’t stop changing the day you buy one, and you’re not obligated to plough through it in one sitting to get value from it.
This is built to move with wherever you’re at, whether that’s working through something that isn’t landing, or pushing something that’s already going fine to go further.
If you want structured guide content or the course alongside the community, those come in at the higher tiers. But the core of this is ongoing podcast support and mentoring from someone who’s done it, plus people around you who’ve been through it too — whatever that looks like for you right now.

Who’s running this
I’m Neal Veglio. I’ve been in podcasting since the early 2000s, long before it was a career anyone could point to. I’ve watched the medium change shape a dozen times over, and most of what actually makes a show work hasn’t changed nearly as much as the gurus want you to believe.
I run Podknows, producing podcasts for brands who take it seriously. I built Podmastery because most of what gets sold to indie podcasters is recycled advice from people who’ve never actually grown a show themselves.
I’ll be straight with you: I have a reputation for being direct, and I don’t tell people what they want to hear. If your podcast has a problem, I’ll say so.
Whether you’re just getting going, working through something that isn’t quite right, or trying to push a good podcast further, I’ll be in your corner for it — and the first person celebrating when it pays off.
